Oppo N1, smartphone with rotating camera launched @ Rs 40k
Chinese handset maker Oppo has launched Oppo N1 in the Indian market at Rs 39,999. The launch marks the entry of the brand in Indian smartphone market.

Launched in September 2013 in China, Oppo N1 boasts of a swivel camera and offers a variant that runs Cyanogenmod (an alternative version of Android) out of the box.

Oppo N1 sports a large 5.9-inch full-HD IPS display. Powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB RAM, the smartphone runs a highly customised version of Android 4.2 (Color ROM). It sports a 13MP camera placed on a rotating swivel capable of rotating 206 degree with a dual-LED flash.

The smartphone is backed by a 3610mAh battery and comes in 16 and 32GB storage variants. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and DLNA.

Google is selling Motorola's smartphone business to Lenovo for $2.9 billion, a price that makes Google's biggest acquisition look like its most expensive mistake.

The deal announced on Wednesday will rid Google Inc. of a financial headache that has plagued the internet company since buying Motorola Mobility for $12.4 billion in 2012.Motorola has lost nearly $2 billion since Google took over, while trimming its workforce from 20,000 to 3,800.

Google had previously recovered some of the money that it spent on Motorola by selling the company's set-top operations last year to Arris Group Inc. for $2.35 billion. Google is also keeping most of the patents that came with the Motorola purchase.

It's unclear if Google will have to absorb a charge to account for the difference between what it paid for Motorola Mobility and what it is getting back. The Mountain View, California, company may address the issue Thursday when it announces its fourth-quarter earnings after the market closes.

The game at the Eden Park here on Saturday had just about everything; dominance, slumps, drama, fightbacks and moments of inspiration.
And heroes emerged in this gut-wrenching duel of fortune swings where both teams finished on 314 on a wicket with pace and consistent b bounce.
Martin Guptill made a stroke-filled hundred for New Zealand, Corey Anderson found himself among big wickets, and then Mahendra Singh Dhoni, R. Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja led a stirring Indian counter-attack with aggressive half-centuries.
The air was suffused with tension as the final over began. When the dust settled, the third ODI had concluded in a sensational tie.
Innings of character
The explosive Jadeja almost pulled off the impossible with an unbeaten 66 of character. As the night wore on, tensions rose in the Kiwi camp. There was a close caught behind shout against Jadeja, that might have been a    genuine edge.
When Anderson began the final over, India required 18 with just one wicket left.
The influential Anderson had scalped five by mixing his length capably. His mind calm in the cauldron, Jadeja settled into his stance. The crowd turned silent in anticipation of the face-off.
Anderson, finally undone by some pressure, sent down two wides in the over. The inspired Jadeja powered the Kiwi to the mid-wicket fence, turned one fine for a boundary, and thwacked a short delivery over the ropes. The Indians supporters roared.
India needed two off the last delivery. Jadeja and last man Varun Aaron scampered a single.
New Zealand leads the series 2-0 with two games remaining. Staring at a defeat for most part, even a tie was a heist for India.
The game’s defining moment arrived in the 49th over. Jadeja — he had clubbed Mitchell McClenaghan for a six over mid-wicket — was put down at third man fence by Hamish Bennett.
The dependable Kiwis made a few errors under stress. ‘Keeper Luke Ronchi fluffed a stumping to reprieve Ashwin.
Promoted in the batting order, Ashwin (65) stroked with authority and common sense. He utilised the angles in the field cleverly, gliding and glancing fine.
